‘Through the Lines’ marked Hermès’ first men’s spring show of 2024 in Shanghai. Inside the West Bund Art Center, Véronique Nichanian’s collection found its stage among geometric installations and walls of riso-printed animation. This convergence of fashion and art featured a diverse cast and spotlighted local artists. DTAN developed the show’s visual language, creating everything from the logotype to invitation designs.
We stripped things down to their essence. Clean lines met subtle color palettes. Riso-printed animations danced across video walls. A minimalist grid slowly revealed a walking figure – pixel by pixel, frame by frame.

The West Bund Art Center transformed into this beautiful contradiction: structured yet fluid, digital yet tactile. We created video loops that started in perfect geometry, then broke free into organic gradients and stellar patterns.
