Our collaboration with K2 Skis explores the intersection of art and movement. Working closely with Art Director Brad Walters, we developed illustrations for the Omen series that capture speed and energy, even when the skis are standing still. Through sequential framing techniques, each design creates subtle animation as skiers carve down the mountain.
Breaking from traditional ski aesthetics, we chose a vibrant, unexpected color palette that stands in bold contrast to snow-covered slopes. These hues, achieved through screen printing, maintain the same electric energy as our studio’s signature Riso prints. The result is an artwork that makes a statement whether in motion or on display.

The K2 team visited our Berlin studio to document the creative process, offering a behind-the-scenes look at our collaborative approach. This partnership goes beyond surface-level design – these are competition-grade skis that have proven themselves at events like the X Games.
Each piece in the Omen series represents our commitment to pushing creative boundaries. The designs tell a story of speed, skill, and artistic expression – bringing a fresh perspective to functional art while honoring the thrill of the sport. It’s the kind of seamless fusion we find most exciting.
